Highland Park distillery, creators of The Best Spirit in the World, has unveiled the striking design of its oldest expression to date - Highland Park 50 year old single malt whisky - launched exclusively at Harrods, London.

With only 275 bottles produced, the award-winning brand has worked with internationally renowned specialists in jewellery design and packaging to create a unique offering from the Orcadian distillery

The presentation box, hand-carved from sustainable Scottish oak by master craftsmen John Galvin and Conor Oliver of John Galvin Design who have over 25 years of experience, continues the nautical theme and just like the bottle, each has its individual characteristics and detailing.

John Galvin of John Galvin Design, said: "A marriage of contemporary bespoke design with quality craftsmanship has lead to the design of this outstanding presentation box and these beautiful bespoke pieces which will stand the test of time."

Each presentation box has free form carving and traditional craft technique is core to the construction ethos and the presentation incorporates no less than sixteen through dovetails.
